Celebrating Life’s Best Moments

Hey there! It’s me, Jessica!

If you traveled back in time to see 8-year-old Jessica, you’d likely find me sitting on the floor with family photo albums and polaroids surrounding me. The smiles, laughs, and happiness I saw in each image was a reminder to me of the love shared between me, my parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents (even when some were no longer around.)

As a photographer, I want to elevate and honor the expressions of love and support you experience on your wedding day so a deep sense of belonging can be remembered throughout the valleys and mountain-top experiences of life.

The emotions you feel and share with your dearest friends and family deserve to be remembered as a part of your legacy!

North Carolina elopements are dear to my heart...

BECAUSE I ELOPED THERE WITH MY HUSBAND!

I fell in love with the Blue Ridge Mountains when my husband and I eloped north of Asheville in 2020 with our immediate family and a handful of friends. After realizing the beauty and intentionality of such a day, my focus became giving future couples that same gift.

You might not know but…

I watch Pride and Prejudice (2005) at least twice every year, ask myself “Would Audrey (Hepburn) wear this” whenever buying clothes, and analyze old film photographs from the 50s just for fun! Making sure your day is going to be captured in a timeless, classic, and film inspired way is what I’m all about.

I’ve photographed over 30 families and 50 couples, so understanding that each relationship is unique and different is something I recognize in everyone. I love getting to know my clients so we can craft a day that fits them while keeping family dynamics in mind.

As a former elementary teacher, I’m used to questions. In fact, I love helping provide information to clients so they don’t feel alone with their questions. Thoroughness and attention to detail are two of the things that make working with me stress-free and relaxing.

When venturing into the great outdoors on public land, I abide by Leave No Trace principles: ethical guidelines to help preserve and protect the beautiful nature, designed for our enjoyment.

Ask me more about what this means, as I'd love to pass on what I've learned to help you plan an elopement day that will leave nature just as beautiful as it was before your ceremony.
